Cornelia Keßler
Cornelia studied translation in Leipzig and completed her studies in Spain where she also lived for several years. As the founder of Comunica she has more than ten years of professional experience as a freelancer. Her professional focus lies on marketing texts, technical manuals, and IT-related content. She lives in Leipzig with her Spanish husband and two children. To keep a sound work-life balance Cornelia explores nature on horseback and enjoys hiking with her family.

Katja Thömmes
Katja has a background in psychology and started working as a translator in 2015. She has been working part-time for Comunica since 2017 and is currently doing her PhD in psychology. In her free time she enjoys film photography, cooking, and traveling in her oldtimer caravan.
Main focus: audiovisual translation (subtitling), proofreading of scientific texts, health and food.
